Excited to present an extract of new work How Do You Know All This? at the inaugural Ballet Nights event next week. Created in collaboration with Rambert pal, Hannah Rudd, and drawn from ideas generated during the preparation for a Royal Opera House Draft Works show that was cancelled because of Covid, this new imagining will be performed solo by Hannah.
These recent times have been so heavy, sad and strange for us all. Because of this, Hannah was determined a sense of joy should be at the heart of our collaboration. The piece grew in this spirit- that though in all our different ways we hold trauma and the demands of the years in our bodies, dancing and making can express our collective resilience and help us to feel free.
